About me....

My name is Laura and i am the red head behind the Quirky Flamingo Co.

What started back in 2015 as a love for buttons has developed into new areas with the introduction of handmade jewelry with beautiful hand pressed and dried flowers embedded within. 

In December 2016 we celebrated the arrival of Baby Flamingo and following a tough time suffering from PND i chose to throw myself into my crafty ways as a form of therapy.

What started off as a few sketches in my studio in the sleepy village of Hillsborough soon became a reality with our items going down a storm in local craft fairs and on our new and improved website.

In August 2018 we began stocking our items in 'Love Love Design' in Ballynahinch a shop devoted to handmade items made by crafters here in Northern Ireland and word seems to be getting about! 

We are now stocked in Inspired by Flowers in Dromara, The Irish Linen Museum, Lisburn and soon to be stocked in an up and coming milinery shop! Watch this space!
